Laparoscopic Ovarian Cystectomy
Laparoscopic Ovarian Cystectomy is available through Mark Cuban Companies Health Plan at a published cash price, paid when you book.
Laparoscopic ovarian cystectomy is a minimally invasive surgical procedure used to remove ovarian cysts, which are fluid-filled sacs that can develop on the ovaries. During the procedure, a small incision is made near the navel, and a laparoscope—a thin, lighted tube with a camera—is inserted into the abdomen. Additional small incisions may be made to insert surgical instruments. The surgeon uses the laparoscope to visualize the cyst and carefully excises it from the ovary. Once the cyst is removed, the incisions are closed, and the patient typically experiences less pain, shorter recovery times, and reduced scarring compared to traditional open surgery.
