Hysteroscopy
Hysteroscopy is available through SUNY Downstate's Transparent Access Plan at a published cash price, paid when you book.
Hysteroscopy is a medical procedure used to examine and treat the inside of the uterus (the womb). It involves the use of a hysteroscope, a thin, flexible tube with a camera and light at the tip, which is inserted through the vagina and cervix into the uterus. Hysteroscopy serves both diagnostic and therapeutic purposes. It allows healthcare providers to visualize the uterine cavity, diagnose conditions like fibroids or polyps, and perform various surgical procedures within the uterus, such as the removal of polyps, fibroids, or uterine adhesions. Hysteroscopy is minimally invasive and is often performed on an outpatient basis.| Explore Comprehensive Gynecology Services with Mishe's Expert Providers.
