Septoplasty

Septoplasty is available through SUNY Downstate's Transparent Access Plan at a published cash price, paid when you book.

Septoplasty is a surgical procedure performed to correct a deviated septum, which is the cartilaginous and bony partition that separates the two nasal passages in the nose. When the septum is deviated or crooked, it can obstruct airflow through the nasal passages, leading to symptoms such as nasal congestion, difficulty breathing, snoring, and recurrent sinus infections. Septoplasty aims to straighten and reposition the septum to improve nasal breathing and alleviate associated symptoms. This procedure is typically performed by an ear, nose, and throat (ENT) specialist and can be done in an outpatient setting under local or general anesthesia.| Explore Comprehensive Otolaryngology Services with Mishe's Expert Providers.
